Two videos that inspire me..
This first video was recorded at a back-to-school pep rally in Dallas, Texas! This 11-year-old boy gives an amazing speech about believing in all students and how a teacher's influence goes far beyond the classroom.

What Teachers Make-Taylor Mali
I first saw this video in one of my teacher education classes at Michigan State and it still resonates with me today. When I am feeling stressed that my bank account is running low or I need to be inspired I always turn to this video. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have! This man is a true inspiration!
P.S. If you get a chance, watch other videos of his on youtube. A couple have choice words in them so they should not be shown in an elementary classroom, but I really enjoy "The The Impotence of Proofreading" as well :)

Hello & welcome to my blog!
Over the past few years I have bookmarked, pinned & stored a multitude of great ideas that I hope to use in my future classroom. I am using this blog as a way to share these ideas with other educators who have a passion for creativity and out-of-the-box thinking as it relates to the classroom. Click on my links to the right to see some of the things that I love! Enjoy :)
